¿El museo es accesible?
El VICM es 100% accesible. Hay estacionamiento para discapacitados en el extremo derecho del estacionamiento. Si ese espacio está lleno, se puede arreglar la entrega. Llame al 340-643-0366 para obtener más información o si llega y necesita ayuda.
Are service animals allowed?
Yes. In accordance with the ADA, we welcome service animals that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability.
Where should I park?
We are located in the Buccaneer Mall. Guests are welcome to park anywhere within the mall parking lot.

General Parking: If the main lot is busy, there is additional parking available in the upper lot located in the southeast corner of the complex.

Accessible Parking: Dedicated spaces are located on the south side of our building, directly adjacent to our entry ramp. (See parking map image below).

Drop-off & Assistance: If designated accessible spaces are full, or if you need a hand entering the building, please call us at 340-643-0366. A staff member will be happy to coordinate a drop-off or meet you at the door to assist.
What is your stroller policy?
We love hosting families! To ensure our pathways remain clear for all guests and to protect our specialized flooring, we ask the following:

Stroller Parking: Please park your strollers near the museum entryway along the Logo Mural Wall. This keeps the galleries open and maneuverable for guests using wheelchairs or mobility aids.

Soft Mat Areas: To keep our play spaces clean and safe, please refrain from driving strollers on the soft mat play areas.
What are the restroom and changing facilities?
We offer several options to ensure all guests are comfortable during their visit:

Inside the Museum: We have an all-gender, multi-stall family restroom located within the museum. This facility includes a baby changing table and a dedicated diaper pail for your convenience.

Gendered Restrooms: For those who prefer to use gendered restrooms, these are located just outside the museum on the south side porch of the building.

Key Access: Please visit the museum reception desk to borrow the key for the exterior restrooms.

Accessibility: All restrooms (both internal and external) feature wheelchair-accessible stalls.

Birthday Parties: Currently booking for Sunday afternoons (1:00 PM – 3:00 PM).

What’s Included: Parties include a designated refreshments room with kitchen amenities and all-day museum play for your guests!

Capacity: Space is reserved on a first-come, first-served basis for parties of up to 30 people.

¿Cuáles son las opciones gastronómicas en el museo?
El VICM no cuenta con cafetería. Damos la bienvenida a los visitantes para que traigan una comida de picnic para llevar, o para aprovechar casi una docena de restaurantes a 2 cuadras del museo y sentarse en nuestro nuevo patio para disfrutar de su comida.
