Worldwide Day of Play | VI Children's Museum

The Worldwide Day of Play is an annual event that encourages children and families to engage in science, music, cultural demonstrations, and traditional game play. This year's event promises to be a day filled with fun and learning for all ages at The Virgin Islands Children’s Museum (VICM) in Buccaneer Mall on St Thomas, USVI, on September 27th, 2025, from 10AM to 4:30PM.

- MLB School of Dance: Featuring Baby Ballerinas performing solos.

- The Concrete Bloom Organization: Hosting activities centered around planting seeds of hope and healing.

- Fun with Guitar: Playing music, singing, and playing guitar.

- Virgin Islands EPSCoR/Virgin Islands Marine Advisory Service: Providing sensory-based environmental education activities.

- Virgin Islands Next Generation Network (viNGN): Demonstrating how the internet works with a hands-on component.

- WTJX: Sharing information about PBS and providing PBS "play pad" handheld games.

- Slime Science: Learn a family-friendly recipe for making slime and enjoy slime sensory play.

- Teen Time: Participate in logic-building social games led by mathematicians from the University of the Virgin Islands.

- Gabby's Dollhouse MEOWseum Discovery Days activities: Offering crafts, scavenger hunts, selfie stations, and more.

El Museo de los Niños de las Islas Vírgenes está organizando nuestro Día Anual de Juego Comunitario el 16 de marzo de este año, para conmemorar nuestro tercer aniversario (¡en nuestro tercer hogar en tres años!). Ha sido una recuperación larga y desafiante y tenemos mucho que celebrar. Únase a nosotros para celebrar este increíble hito con un Día comunitario gratuito de 10:00 a. m. a 4:00 p. m. patrocinado por Fintrac, el Consejo de las Artes de las Islas Vírgenes y la Fundación Comunitaria de las Islas Vírgenes.

El museo estará abierto al público de forma gratuita y albergará demostraciones y charlas de distinguidos científicos y miembros de la comunidad durante todo el día. También habrá una variedad de actividades divertidas basadas en STEM.
