The Worldwide Day of Play is an annual event that encourages children and families to engage in science, music, cultural demonstrations, and traditional game play. This year's event promises to be a day filled with fun and learning for all ages at The Virgin Islands Children’s Museum (VICM) in Buccaneer Mall on St Thomas, USVI, on September 27th, 2025, from 10AM to 4:30PM.

We are grateful for the generous support of our sponsors of the VICM's Worldwide Day of Play 2024, including Island Designs LLC, Keswick Insurance, RapierMed, Tutu Park Mall, and Universal Concrete, LLC. Their contributions have made it possible for us to offer FREE admission to everyone who wants to PLAY at the VICM on this special day. In addition to our sponsors, we would like to recognize the community organizations who have joined us in making this event a success. These include the Disability Rights Center of the Virgin Islands, GRROE USVI Mangroves, Virgin Islands Surfing Federation, St. John School of the Arts, Shen Dragon Karate Dojo, Reef Response / University of the Virgin Islands, Virgin Islands Marine Advisory Service (VIMAS) & Virgin Islands Established Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (VI-EPSCoR), MLB School of Dance, Coral Bay Community Council, Virgin Islands Public Library System - DPNR/DLAM, DPNR Division of Fish and Wildlife, The Coziah Dancers, VI Movement Lab, DFG Community Impact Foundation of the VI, and Happy Times Entertainment. Face painting will be free.
The Worldwide Day of Play is part of Nickelodeon’s Our World global initiative, aiming to inspire kids and provide them with tools to activate their individual and collective agency. As part of a network of more than 300 ACM member children’s museums, we are excited to celebrate Our World: Worldwide Day of Play with you.
