Artist Statement: Throughout my art journey, paint and charcoal have both interested me equally. I wanted to use these two medias, with the same theme. I chose surrealism, incorporating real life and nature into each other. I wanted to experiment with city life incorporated with nature. I am very satisfied with how this piece came out, as most of this project was going with the flow. In the future, I look forward to experimenting with varied genres, and different media.
